Turbine Potsdam fulfills Hahn the dream of Europe
"It has always been my dream to play in Europe, but in such a successful and traditional club like Turbine Potsdam, this is of course something very special," Hahn is quoted in a press release: "I am excited to see how I am with coach Sofian Chahed And develop the team further. I am happy to achieve goals together with the team and win games. "
The young midfielder grew up in New Zealand and has already gained first football experience there. Among other things, she was part of the U-17 national team. In Germany she already played for SV Meppen before continuing her studies in the USA at the University of Oregon last season.
"Maya is a young and talented player who first has to get used to the pace of the first Bundesliga and the training intensity, but will certainly play an important role after a short adjustment phase", predicted turbine head coach Chahed.
Potsdam (43 points) is in third place after 20 games played, only Master Bayern (49) and cup winner Wolfsburg (50) collected even more points. The Champions League is within reach.
